Marysville School District strengthens public trust through engagement
In the Marysville School District, having conversations to engage community members in the issues facing modern school systems, is the first step to strengthening and rebuilding trust. Conversations allow stakeholders in the education system to openly and honestly share information about the strengths and weaknesses of the current system.
However, Marysville also demonstrates that taking engagement a step further by using technology to expand the public voice not only continues to build public trust, but also validates the public school system. In doing that, these on-going conversations enable educators to draw on support from the public to provide children with an education that helps them find their passions and thrive.
