ROSSLAND, BC, Jan. 4, 2016 – Thoughtexchange is pleased to announce the appointment of Lea Scherck to the role of Senior Vice President. Lea will lead all aspects of Thoughtexchange’s existing product including sales efforts, hiring, training, product direction and management. Lea joined Thoughtexchange over four years ago as the company’s first facilitator, growing from Director to Vice President of Service, before becoming Senior Vice President for Thoughtexchange. The processes and standards that Lea helped create have allowed Thoughtexchange to deliver a level of customer service that it can proudly stand behind.

“We want to be the most trusted vendor for our customers, and the fact that we are is in no small part due to Lea,” says Jim Firstbrook, Thoughtexchange’s President.

Dave MacLeod, CEO, adds, “The culture that Lea helped create with her team has been integral to our success and has become a pillar of who we are as a company today. We have been able to grow and sell our product because that collaborative, open approach has allowed us to really hear how we can serve our customers better, both in terms of service and with the continued innovation of our software.”

Lea holds a Master’s in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability. She is fascinated by group dynamics and communication and the application of technology to improve them.
