With COVID-19 becoming a full-blown crisis seemingly overnight, many of New York State’s education leaders are facing their biggest challenge yet as their communities turn to them for answers.
Dr. Kevin McGowan is one of many superintendents who see COVID-19 as an opportunity to bring together his students, staff, parents, and community identify their needs and goals for student health and success.

Host
While visiting a refugee camp in Thailand as a teenager, Kyle discovered his lifelong passion for making a meaningful difference in the world around him. After building a career in politics as a strategist, front-line communicator, advocate, and grassroots leader, Kyle has transitioned into ThoughtExchange, where he wholeheartedly believes that a single idea can make a world of a difference.
