VIRTUAL EVENT SERIES

“Get to know us, Thoughtexchange style.”

“We sell an incredible product, [and] the customers we interact with are just the most interesting people.”

“I can’t imagine working anywhere else...It’s more than a job; it’s like an adventure we’re all on together.”

Yes, those are actual quotes from Thoughtexchange employees. We pride ourselves on our grassroots approach to innovation and our culture of collaboration. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work for a top Canadian tech company in a customer-facing capacity, we want to tell you all about it.

Join us for a one-hour open house virtual event to hear from some of our sales and customer service team members about why they love working for us and why you will too. You’ll get to ask them anything and experience our awesome product first hand.

Amy Pol

Corporate Success Manager Team Lead

Amy brings insight from past positions in both the public and private sectors. She joined the Thoughtexchange team because she’s passionate about working in an environment which strongly supports stakeholder engagement and is making a positive contribution to teams and communities across North America. Her background in communications, project management, and facilitation positively contribute to her customer’s experience. In her current role, she supports corporate leaders to effectively use Thoughtexchange in their organizations to support their unique strategic and organizational goals.

In her off time, Amy is actively involved with the local trail building society and also volunteers for (and races) BMX. When not online, you will most likely find her outside - she does live at the base of a ski hill after all!

Stephanie Bote

Sales Development Representative

Stephanie feels strongly about giving everyone a voice and making sure they are heard. Her background as an insurance professional shaped a genuine care for the needs of others and for addressing those needs with the right approach and solution. This, combined with her optimistic perspective towards challenges and fun-loving attitude towards life, will add value to Thoughtexchange as we bring people together. As an immigrant born and raised in the Philippines, Stephanie is proud of her Filipino roots and treasures the diversity of her community in Surrey, BC. Outside of work, you will find her channeling her inner Broadway Star while travelling out to see the world and experience what it has to offer.

James Haga

Account Executive

Originally from North Vancouver, James has been lucky to live, work and learn in many places around the world, from Kampala to Boston. Having previously served in a range of leadership roles across the non-profit sector, James was inspired to join Thoughtexchange by the opportunity to support people in channeling the wisdom of crowds in making more thoughtful, inclusive decisions. In an ever busy and distracted world, he believes that listening is a transformative act that has the power to shift how we lead our lives and create impact in our organizations. Now a proud resident of Toronto (go Raptors!), James loves connecting with people more interesting than himself, exploring the triumphs and foibles of life through poetry and painting, jumping into frigid Ontario lakes, and lively dinners with his friends and family that remind him that life is precious.

Kyle Empringham

His passion in helping people meaningfully connect with community is what drives him to support customers through the Thoughtexchange process.
